Michele Malerba-Palumbo has been teaching dance for over three decades. She has been the director of Dance Fantasies Dance Studio, for 28 years. Michele opened Dance Fantasies doors with her parents, Bill and Maria Malerba, in September 1990.  She loves being a dance educator and is a Certified Dance Instructor by Test to Teach, through Dance Masters of America, Inc. D.M. of A, is an International Organization which was founded in 1884. The organization is made up of 31 chapters. Also a member of the Dance Teachers Club of Connecticut, Chapter 18, Michele has served multiple terms on the Board of Directors, most currently as Second Vice President of the Chapter.
Continuing her dance studies, is one the most important factors in being the best dance educator she can be.  Michele continues to study for own personal and professional growth, actively taking part in dance class as often as possible.  She attends Dance Masters of America, Teachers Training School, at Buffalo, when she can and will also brush up on her own technique at Broadway Dance Center, in NYC, when she has the opportunity.
Michele began Dance Fantasies Performance Group in 2003 and also forms a Holiday Performance Group every season. Michele chooses these students, to perform for local convalescent homes, senior centers, and so on. This is something that she thoroughly enjoys and  looks forward to every year.
Michele has received Top Teacher Awards for Choreography, among others, for Dance Competition Group entries.  Many of her students have received tuition scholarships at workshops, for their strength in technique and ability, to name a few. She has also had students in the past, who have studied at Radio City Music Hall Rockette Intensives and has both past and current students who still attend class in NYC when the opportunity arises.
Michele Malerba-Palumbo loves teaching the Art of Dance. She will continue to be the best dance educator that GOD has chosen her to be.
